Ventrol custom compact handlers are commonly used for indoor heating and cooling in new or retrofit applications up to 20,000+ cfm and eight inches total static pressure. These units are compact and have a low profile, making them ideal for small footprint or ceiling mount installations. Units are available in horizontal and vertical airflow configurations.

Key Features

The unit frame is constructed of insulated, roll-formed steel. Side panels are easy to remove to access internal components and provide the rigidity (deflection L/240 and <1 percent leakage) to maintain a tight air seal. Two-inch double-wall construction is standard with fiberglass or foam insulation options.

Fan options include single or multiple, smaller direct-drive plenum fans (arrangement four). Multiple fans provide added reliability in the event one fails, as well as increased energy efficiency by allowing fans to turn off in response to airflow needs.

With FANWALL TECHNOLOGY^® by HUNTAIR^®, Ventrol offers designers added flexibility in optimizing the fan-wheel geometry and motor horsepower for a specific application. The result is smaller, quieter fans and motors, running closer to peak efficiencies—helping to reduce energy costs while improving system reliability. Heating or cooling coil performance is AHRI Certified™. The drain pan is insulated and pitched to aid in drainage of condensate which helps in preventing the buildup of contaminates. Fans, custom electrical panel, and VFD options come factory-wired for fast installation and start-up.
